A 120W per square metre mat suitable for laying on timber or concrete in internal rooms such as kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms etc. Quick to lay into square and rectangular rooms these mats can be shaped to cover more complex room shapes.

When fitting underfloor heating under tiles a Mat Kit such as this one is a quick and easy way to go. The heating cables are fixed on the mat at 120W per square metre making these Mats suitable for use on timber or concrete floors.
These Mat Kits are ideal for regular shaped, internal rooms such as dining rooms or bedrooms. For kitchens or bathrooms, although you can use these Kits, you may be better off using our loose lay Cable Kits which are often easier to fit into complicated shaped rooms. And for conservatories (or other areas of high heat loss) you may want to consider Conservatory Floor Heating Cable Kits or Conservatory Floor Heating Mat.
As with all our underfloor heating kits, these will perform better when fitted in conjunction with Marmox insulation. The system will react more quickly and be more efficient.

In a regular room these Mat Kits are simple to fit, just select by your floor size below. This will give you a mat smaller than your floor - typically 80 - 90% floor coverage. If in doubt about which mat size to choose or if your room is a complex shape, draw a layout plan to make sure the mat will fit - leave a 100mm border at the edges if you do this. (eg 3.66 - 4.14 sq m Details: (400W, 0.50m x 6.8m, 3.40 sq m) is a 3.4 sq m mat and is typically fitted in floor areas between 3.66 and 4.14 sq m).
