Under Tile Heating Information
Tiled Floor Heating is supplied in 3 basic types:
Cable Kits - these are Kits with loose lay cable on a drum and tape to fix the cables down. They are very versatile as you can lay the cable in complex patterns easily so long as you maintain an equal cable spacing. It is available here in 3 options: for use on Timber subfloors, for use on Concrete or Marmox insulation floors and for use in Conservatories where it must be on concrete or Marmox floors. Marmox is strongly recommended in conservatories where the heat loss is high. These 3 options are sized to give the correct power density for the type of subfloor. If you are looking to heat the room we recommend that Marmox insulation is laid on the floor and either the Concrete or Conservatory size is used.
Mat Kits - these Kits are 120W per square metre mats and are suitable for use on Timber or Concrete subfloors. Again we strongly recommend the use of Marmox insulation particularly if this kit is used on concrete.
Mat Kits for Conservatories - these Kits are 175W per square metre mats and are suitable for higher heat loss areas such as Conservatories and Garden Rooms. They are suitable for laying on to concrete or Marmox insulation board. Marmox is very strongly recommended for these areas because of the high heat loss. These 175W kits are not to be laid directly on to timber floors. For use on a timber floor Marmox or similar insulation should be used.

Tiled Floor Heating Cable Kit on Timber
Cable Kit for laying on Timber sub-floors at approx 100W per sq m. Ideal to warm the tiles in first floor bathrooms etc.

Tiled Floor Heating Cable Kit on Concrete
Cable Kit for laying on concrete slab or Marmox insulation board. Sized for standard rooms such as kitchens, dining rooms, bathrooms under tiles or similar.

Tiled Floor Heating Cable Kit for Conservatories
Ideal and flexible heating system for laying in conservatories, particularly if the shape is not square. Once installed, you can enjoy your conservatory 12 months of the year.

Tiled Floor Heating Mat Kit
A 120W per square metre mat suitable for laying on timber or concrete in internal rooms such as kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms etc. Quick to lay into square and rectangular rooms these mats can be shaped to cover more complex room shapes.

Tiled Floor Heating Mat Kit for Conservatories
A 175W per square metre mat suitable for laying in Conservatories on to concrete or Marmox. Quick to lay into square and rectangular conservatories, garden rooms or other areas of high heat loss.

Marmox Insulation
Marmox is a high performance reinforced insulation board with a strength of 30 tonnes per sqm. Marmox is ideal for use with electric underfloor heating under tiles.
