Conservatories are areas of high heat loss and are traditionally difficult to heat. Electric Underfloor Heating by its nature is a great heating system for conservatories as it keeps the heat low down, where you want it and produces mainly radiant heat to keep heat losses low.
Our Conservatory Floor Heating Cable Kit and Conservatory Floor Heating Mat Kit are designed to provide the high output power required for Conservatories. This output is typically 150 - 180 Watts per square metre and is only suitable for laying under tiles, slate, marble, stone and similar materials and must be laid onto the concrete slab or, preferably, Marmox insulation. Conservatories with timber floors should have Marmox applied before the floor heating.
