Bathroom Heating is supplied in 2 basic types:
Bathroom Heating Cable Kits - these are Kits with loose lay cable on a drum. They are very versatile as you can lay the cable in complex rooms like bathrooms easily. Bathroom Heating is available in 2 options: for use on Timber subfloors and for use on Concrete or Marmox insulation floors. These 2 options are sized to give the correct power density for the type of subfloor. If you are looking to heat the room we recommend that Marmox insulation is laid and that an additional heater such as a heated towel rail is used.
Mat Kits - these Kits are 120W per square metre mats and are suitable for use on Timber or Concrete subfloors. Again we strongly recommend the use of Marmox insulation to improve the performance and that an additional heater such as a heated towel rail is used.

Bathroom Heating Cable Kit on Timber
When installing Cable Kit on to timber you need to keep the power density low. This Bathroom Heating Kit is at that low power for fiiting onto ply or similar.

Bathroom Heating Cable Kit on Concrete
Cable Kit is easy to fit into complex room shapes such as bathrooms. This Kit is sized for fitting onto a concrete floor or Marmox over timber.

Bathroom Heating Mat Kit
Mat Kits - these Kits are 120W per square metre mats and are suitable for use on Timber or Concrete subfloors. Fast to lay into regular shaped areas these Mat Kits can also be easily adapted to more complex shapes.

Marmox Insulation
Marmox is a high performance reinforced insulation board with a strength of 30 tonnes per sqm. Marmox is ideal for use with electric underfloor heating under tiles.
