Screamer Cable Monitor
The ‘screamer’ will monitor your electric cables or mats during installation.
Product Description
While our electric underfloor heating cables are tough there is a tiny possibility of damage on site. We recommend the screamer to monitor your mats or cables during every step of the installation. Then, in the event of damage, the screamer will sound an alarm and light the red error LED. If the alarm sounds you should stop work and check the installation.
The mats or cables are simply connected to the three screw terminals at the base of the screamer. A single screamer can monitor up to 3 cables or mats.
Powered by two AAA batteries (supplied). Ideal for electricians and / or installers.
Please note: The screamer is not a replacement for proper testing. All cables / mats must be tested with a low ohm’s meter and insulation tester in accordance with the installation instructions.
